1. Eligibility, Agreement & Submitter Requirements

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to submit any testimony, audio, video, text, or uploaded files to this platform. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you are an adult under applicable law. Affirmative Consent: Submitting media through our site requires clicking an explicit agreement box confirming you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Voluntary Submissions: All submissions are made purely on a voluntary basis. No monetary compensation, royalties, or financial incentives are provided for submitting your story, media, or personal testimony.

2. Content Ownership, Licensing & Broad Syndication

Ownership: You retain original copyright and ownership of your submitted testimony, audio, video, text, and media files. Non-Exclusive License: By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, stream, store, reproduce, perform, and distribute your testimony across our primary website, apps, and digital channels. Extended Multi-Platform & Partner Syndication: If you opt in to public sharing or sharing with church/ministry communities, you grant us the right to sub-license and share your testimony with partner churches, ministries, campus networks, and special events. This license explicitly includes the right to broadcast or feature your content in: • Live and virtual conferences, conventions, and special events. • Promotional media, trailers, sizzle reels, and social media campaigns. • Audio broadcasts, including podcasts, radio, and digital audio feeds. • Video streaming, television broadcasts, and print publications. No Sale of Content: We will never sell your stories for commercial profit. Format Adaptations & Retitling: You grant us permission to edit, trim, transcribe, caption, translate, re-format, or adapt your content into alternate formats (such as short-form video reels or written excerpts). We reserve the right to retitle entries, re-frame headlines, or summarize written texts for clarity, length, and audience engagement.

3. Submissions & Publication Discretion

No Guarantee of Publication: Submitting a testimony, video, or audio file does not guarantee that it will be published, broadcast, or featured on our site or through any partner channels. Editorial Control: Selection and publication are entirely at our sole discretion. We are under no obligation to provide feedback, explanation, or notice regarding unselected submissions.

4. Multi-Person Media Release & Third-Party Permissions

Multi-Person Content: If your submitted video, audio, photograph, or text features or identifies any person other than yourself, you represent and warrant that you have obtained express permission and consent from all such individuals (or their legal guardians if applicable) to record them and share their image, voice, or story publicly under these Terms. Background Audio & Music: You represent that all background music, sound recordings, or visual media included in your submission are original to you or properly licensed, and do not violate any third party's copyright or trademark.

5. Anonymity, Attribution & Privacy

Attribution Options: You may elect to have your testimony displayed with your real name and affiliation, under a pseudonym, or completely anonymously. Accuracy: If choosing public attribution, you agree that the details provided regarding your identity are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

6. Acceptable Use, Community Guidelines & Moderation

Uplifting Purpose: This platform exists to encourage, empower, and lift up others through shared experiences of faith. Third-Party Rights & Defamation: Submissions must not mention specific individuals (e.g., ex-partners, faculty, peers) or organizations by name in a defamatory, derogatory, or critical light. You represent that your submission does not infringe upon any third party's privacy, copyright, trademarks, or personal rights. Sensitive Topics: Stories involving personal trials, mental health struggles, or past substance abuse are welcomed when shared to inspire hope and redemption. However, content that promotes active self-harm, details explicit or graphic acts, advocates illegal activity, or provides medical/psychiatric advice is strictly prohibited. Moderation Authority: We reserve absolute discretion to review, edit, reject, or remove any submission at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

7. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Takedown Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content hosted on our platform infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written DMCA notice to our designated copyright agent containing: • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative. • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on our platform. • Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email). • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner. • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

8. Revocation, Deletion & Takedown Requests

Removal Requests: If you wish to withdraw a published testimony from our primary website and digital channels, please send a written request to testing@gmail.com. Grace Period: We will make reasonable commercial efforts to process digital removal requests within thirty (30) business days of receiving written notice. Partner & Broadcast Exclusions: While we will remove content from our direct online platforms, you acknowledge that previously distributed physical media, printed event materials, live conference presentations, radio/podcast episodes already recorded or aired, or third-party partner publications distributed prior to your removal request cannot be retroactively recalled, deleted, or erased.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Personal Expressions: Testimonies reflect the personal views and faith journeys of individual submitters and do not necessarily state or reflect the official views of our organization, board, or partner ministries. Not Professional Advice: Content on this site is shared for inspirational purposes and is not a substitute for professional mental health counseling, medical care, or legal advice. Release & Immunity: You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless our organization, officers, directors, volunteers, partner churches, participating ministries, radio/podcast networks, and event organizers from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of the publication, syndication, adaptions, or distribution of your submitted content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Texas.
